Precision Environments, Inc. designs and builds labs for electrical metrology.  Many electrical standards such as the original Josephson Junction occupy our customer's labs. The unique feature to these labs is the shielding requirement. Shielded enclosures have traditionally been constructed of unfinished steel or Mu metal. The installed product is not conducive to a productive work environment. PE has developed a shielded enclosure that is bright and provides a work atmosphere that promotes employee satisfaction and productivity. Our Electrical Labs are designed with standard features such as shielded doors, power line filters, control line filters, data line filters, wave guides, etc. Labs can be large in size or small. Labs are constructed of finished steel or Mu metal. Please see pictures below. From concept through design and construction PE works interactively with each individual customer to develop a solution appropriate for the operational expectations and budget.
