Filter Weighing Labs

CleanroomPrecision Environments, Inc. has designed and constructed approximately 20 filter weighing labs. Customers include all American and some foreign auto manufacturers, universities and national laboratories. Filter weighing labs are often labeled cleanrooms. However cleanroom design concepts would prevent accurate weighing of the filters. These labs are actually very special Mass Metrology Labs designed to conform to Federal Code of Regulations.  Micro balances are very sensitive to changes in the environment as well as ground induced vibration. PE understands negative environmental effects on the balances and designs to attenuate factors which prevent accurate measurements. From concept through design and construction PE works interactively with each individual customer to develop a solution appropriate for the operational expectations and budget.
